Agreement to Terms

By using CraveMastery (“CraveMastery,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Important Health Disclaimer

CraveMastery is a self-help, mindfulness, and craving-regulation app. It is designed to help users reflect on cravings, prepare reminders, and practice staying with urges during short craving windows.

CraveMastery is not medical care.

CraveMastery is not:

  • a diagnostic tool
  • medical treatment
  • psychological treatment
  • addiction treatment
  • emergency support
  • a substitute for therapy, medical care, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional

Using CraveMastery does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or other professional healthcare relationship.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the App if you have, suspect you have, or are concerned about addiction, substance use disorder, mental health symptoms, trauma, suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, or any medical condition.

If you are in crisis or immediate danger, contact emergency services or a crisis hotline in your country.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use CraveMastery.

By using the App, you confirm that you are 18 years or older.

How the App Works

CraveMastery may help you:

  • prepare a personal WHY reminder
  • upload or select a motivational image
  • reflect on cravings and triggers
  • practice mindfulness during craving episodes
  • track craving-related experiences
  • access educational or self-reflection materials

The App is intended for self-help and personal development. It does not guarantee any health, behavioral, psychological, or addiction-related outcome.

Accounts and Login

Some features may require an account or email-based login. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure.

CraveMastery may use email code login or other authentication methods to help you access your account and sync eligible app data.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or using an account.

Subscriptions and Purchases

CraveMastery may offer free and paid features. Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase.

Payments and subscriptions made through Apple are managed by Apple through your Apple ID. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled according to Apple’s subscription rules.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store account settings.

If available, the App may include a “restore purchases” option to restore access to eligible purchases.

Apple’s standard End User License Agreement may apply to App Store downloads unless a separate custom license agreement is provided:

Account Deletion

If you create an account, the App provides a way to request deletion of your account.

When you delete your account, CraveMastery will attempt to delete account-associated app data stored in Supabase, including onboarding and WHY data associated with that account.

Some information may remain where required by law, where technically necessary for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, backup systems, or where it is no longer reasonably connected to an identifiable account.

Deleting your CraveMastery account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.

Privacy and Data

CraveMastery may store some data locally on your device and may sync some account-related data through Supabase when you sign in or use sync-enabled features.

This may include onboarding answers, WHY reminders, image references, account identifiers, subscription/access status, and app-use records needed to operate the App.

Optional AI-Assisted Features

CraveMastery may include optional AI-assisted features, such as generating or refining a craving reminder based on your input.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for deciding whether any suggestion is useful or appropriate.

Do not enter sensitive medical, emergency, or crisis information into AI-assisted features.

Your Responsibilities

By using CraveMastery, you agree to:

  • use the App responsibly as a self-help tool
  • not rely on the App for medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or treatment
  • seek qualified professional help when needed
  • use the App only for lawful purposes
  • not misuse, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App
  • not attempt to access another user’s account or data

Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, software, and related materials in CraveMastery are owned by Sigurd Stubsjoen / Sigurd Stubsjøen or licensed for use in the App.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App without written permission, except where allowed by law.

Availability and Changes

CraveMastery may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system.

No Guarantees

CraveMastery does not guarantee that you will reduce cravings, stop a behavior, change a habit, improve health, or achieve any specific result.

Your use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CraveMastery is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

We are not liable for:

  • health decisions or outcomes
  • reliance on app content or reminders
  • user-entered data or self-reported information
  • technical errors, interruptions, or data loss
  • inability to access the App
  • indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

Termination

You may stop using CraveMastery at any time.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you misuse the App, violate these Terms, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Norway, unless applicable law requires another venue.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will show when the Terms were most recently changed.

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
